  • Can I bring a guest?
Please refer to your invitation to see if a plus-one was included.
  • Will there be transportation to the venue?
Yes! We’ll have shuttles running between the Hilton Garden Inn Westbury and Temple Judea before and after the wedding. Exact times will be shared closer to the date.
  • Is there parking at the venue?

  • Will there be any Jewish traditions during the ceremony?
Yes! Our ceremony will include a few beautiful Jewish traditions: Ketubah Signing – Before the ceremony, we’ll sign our marriage contract, called a ketubah. Chuppah – We’ll be married under a canopy called a chuppah, symbolizing the home we’ll build together. Breaking the Glass – At the end, Justin will break a glass to symbolize the fragility of life and the commitment we’re making. Everyone will cheer “Mazel Tov!”
  • Will there be other traditions at the reception?
Yes! You can expect the Hora, a lively dance where guests lift us in chairs and circle around to upbeat music. We hope you’ll join in the fun (or cheer from the sidelines!).
  • Do I need to know Hebrew or follow any customs?
Not at all. While some blessings and songs will be in Hebrew, everything will be explained or translated so everyone can follow along and feel included.
  • Will there be yarmulkes at the ceremony?
Yes. Yarmulkes (kippot) will be available for anyone who would like to wear one, but it’s completely optional.
